Al Jalaa signs Anderson just out of college

Al Jalaa Aleppo (SBL) signed American guard Taj Anderson (193cm-79kg), who graduated from Louisiana State University at Shreveport (NAIA) last year. In 28 games last season, he posted impressive stats: 19.8ppg, 3.2rpg, and 2.4apg. His performance in the 2024-25 season earned him a spot on the NAIA All-America Second Team.
He began his college career at Indian Hills Community College (JUCO) before transferring to the University of Texas at Arlington (NCAA). Anderson spent his high school career at Quality Education Preparatory Academy in Winston-Salem, NC.
As mentioned above, he is just out of college, so it will be Anderson's first season as a professional player. Anderson was also voted to All-RRAC Newcomer of the Year in 2025 during his college time. He played for other colleges like Nicholls State University, University of Texas at Arlington, and Indian Hills Community College.
