From the outset, South Korea took control, outscoring Syria 32–15 in the first quarter and extending their lead with a 26–10 second quarter. Their momentum continued into the third, where they posted a game-high 25 points while limiting Syria to just 7. Although Syria showed some improvement in the final quarter with 14 points, it was not enough to close the gap. South Korea's consistent scoring across all quarters and stifling defense underscored their superiority throughout the match.
