Al Wathba Homs (SBL) signed experienced 34-year old American center Arnett Moultrie (208cm-113kg-1990, college: MSU) for upcoming 2025-26 season. Moultrie played last season at Kaohsiung Aquas in Taiwanese TPBL. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. Moultrie also played for Fubon Braves (PLeague+) in Taiwan where in 8 games he recorded 11.4ppg, 10.0rpg and 1.3apg. He helped them to make it to the Taiwanese TPBL final. The other team he played shortly was Maccabi Effie Capital Rishon Le-Zion in Israeli National League. In three games he averaged impressive 19.3ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg.
In 2012 he was drafted by Miami Moultrieat (NBA) in first round (27th overall). The former Mississippi State University star is in his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Moultrie has played in fourteen different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), China (Moultriebei, Flying Tigers, Eagles, Monkey Kings and Royal Fighters), Iran (Mahram), Latvia, Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Philippines (Warriors), Puerto Rico (Osos), Russia (Parma-Pari), Turkey (Ankara D.S.I.), Uruguay (Defensor), South Korea (Daegu and Anyang), Estonia (Kalev/Cramo) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Estonian League championship title in 2019. He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Import Player of the Year back in 2022.
