Guaiqueries de Margarita (SPB) signed 27-year old American (has also Syrian passport) guard Javion Blake (191cm-84kg-1997, college: Washburn, agency: Haylett Sports) for upcoming 2025 season. Blake played last summer at Al Nasr in Libyan D1 league. He helped them to win the regular season. Blake has been regularly called to Syrian Senior National Team since 2024.
He is quite experienced player. Blake has played in eight different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Atenas), Australia, Denmark (Blakerlev), Lebanon (Maristes), Mexico (Astros), New Zealand (Jets), Romania (Sibiu) and Czech Republic (Brno). He was voted to All-MIAA Honorable Mention back in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Blake graduated from Washburn University in 2019 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
