Trey Kell III

Illawarra Hawks (NBL) signed 28-year-old Syrian-American 193cm guard Trey Kell III (college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) for the upcoming season. He last played at Bahcesehir in the Turkish BSL league. In four games, he averaged 7.0ppg and 3.3apg last season. He also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup, where he had 8.2ppg, 1.5rpg, and 1.8apg. Kell also briefly played for the Adelaide 36ers. He was a member of the Syrian Senior National Team in 2020.
He is a very experienced player. Kell has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eight different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bosnia, Hong Kong (HK Eastern), Italy (Armani Milano and Openjobmetis Varese), Poland (Stal), Canada (Moncton Magic), NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns) and Australia (Melbourne Phoenix).
Kell won the Italian Serie A championship title in 2022.
He graduated from San Diego State University in 2018 and it'll be his seventh season in pro basketball.
