D1 Round 14 (Regular Season): Al Jalaa defeat Barada in the closest game of the week

What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most exciting game of round 14 in the D1 took place in Barada. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 5th ranked Barada (8-8) to sixth ranked Al Jalaa (8-8) 82-80 in the game for the fifth place. Al Jalaa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Barada.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Lattakia. Second-ranked host Hutteen (10-7) was smashed by third ranked Al Thawra (16-1) 57-19. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Hutteen. Al Thawra have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Newly promoted Hutteen dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost.
Bottom-ranked Al Sahel (0-17) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 17th consecutive match to eighth ranked Yarmouk (4-13) 57-53 on Friday evening. Yarmouk moved-up to seventh place. Al Sahel at the other side still closes the standings.

In the last game of round 14 Al Ittihad won against Al Ashrafiyat on the opponent's court 76-66.
