BJ Maxwell

Delta Gurjaani (Superleague) agreed terms with 26-year old American point guard BJ Maxwell (194cm-91kg-1997, college: IUPUI). Maxwell started the season at Al Hurriyeh in Syrian SBL league.
He has played previously professionally in Azerbaijan (Neftci) and Ukraine (Cherkasy).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he played in the final of LSC Tournament in 2021. Maxwell was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Import Player of the Year in 2023.
He graduated from Indiana Univ-Purdue Univ-Indianapolis in 2022 and it is his second season as a professional player. Maxwell played for other colleges like: St. Edward's University, University of Detroit Mercy, Abilene Christian University.
