A'Lexxus Davis (ex Teuta) joins Al Thawra

Al Thawra Damascus (D1) has added 27-year-old American center A'Lexxus Davis (188cm-1996, college: USC Upstate) to their roster. Davis previously played for Teuta in the Albania Superliga, where she had impressive stats in 6 games: 15.5ppg, 14.2rpg, 1.5apg, 2.8spg, and 1.7bpg.
She has previously played professionally in Germany for Baskets Grunberg and in Ireland for Meteors.
Her team reached the WBI Championship Semifinals in 2016. She was voted for the Eurobasket.com All-Irish Super League Honorable Mention in 2022.
She used to be a player in the Eurobasket Summer League, which is regarded as the premier summer league for basketball players aspiring to play overseas.
She graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2018, and this is her sixth season as a professional player.
