Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most exciting game of round 16 in the Division I took place in Homs. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Al Karameh (6-7) to seventh ranked Al Hurriyeh (5-7) 81-79 on Saturday evening. Al Hurriyeh moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Thawra. Al Karameh at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. Al Hurriyeh is looking forward to face Naser (#9) in Damascus in the next round. Al Karameh will play on the road against Thawra (#6) in Damascus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Aleppo was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Al Wahda (6-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Al Yarmouk (3-9). Al Wahda defeated Al Yarmouk 81-68. Al Wahda moved-up to fourth place. Al Yarmouk lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. Al Wahda will play against bottom-ranked Al Sahel (#10) in Tartus in the next round where they are favorite. Al Yarmouk will have a break next round.

Al Sahel - Al Jalaa 37-69

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Al Jalaa (11-1) crushed bottom-ranked Al Sahel (1-12) in Tartus 69-37 on Saturday. Al Jalaa have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Al Jaish. Loser Al Sahel stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost. Al Jalaa will meet at home league's second-placed Al Jaish in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al Sahel will play against Al Wahda (#4) in Damascus and hope to win that game.

Al Yarmouk - Al Wahda 68-81

They used home court advantage to defeat Naser (2-9) 97-96 on Saturday. Al Sahel maintains tenth place with 1-10 record. It was Naser's sixth loss in a row.
