Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Al Jalaa as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Al Jalaa smashed 6th ranked Thawra in Aleppo 91-60. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Thawra. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Al Jaish. Thawra at the other side keeps the sixth place with five games lost.
Important game to mention about took place in Aleppo. Seventh ranked Al Hurriyeh (3-6) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th ranked Al Wahda (5-4) 64-63 on Sunday evening. Al Hurriyeh maintains seventh position with 3-6 record, which they share with Al Yarmouk. Al Wahda lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Al Karameh.
Bottom-ranked Al Sahel (0-9) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to eighth ranked Al Yarmouk (3-6) 61-51 on Sunday evening. Al Yarmouk moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Al Hurriyeh. Loser Al Sahel still closes the standings with nine games lost.
The game in Homs was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Al Ittihad (7-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Al Karameh (5-4). Al Ittihad did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 75-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al Karameh. Al Ittihad have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-2 record behind leader Al Jalaa. Al Karameh at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost.



Al Jalaa - Thawra 91-60

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most exciting game of round 16 in the Division I took place in Homs. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Al Karameh (6-7) to seventh ranked Al Hurriyeh (5-7) 81-79 on Saturday evening. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Al Sahel has finally registered their first victory this season after ten consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Naser (2-9) 97-96 on Saturday. Al Sahel maintains tenth place with 1-10 record. It was Naser's sixth loss in a row.
