Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most exciting game of round 8 in the Division I took place in Aleppo. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 4th ranked Al Ittihad (3-2) to second ranked Al Jaish (6-1) 69-68 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al Ittihad. Defending champion maintains second position with 6-1 record having just one point less than leader Al Jalaa. Al Ittihad at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Al Jaish are looking forward to face Al Yarmouk (#6) in Aleppo in the next round. Al Ittihad will play at home against Naser and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
The game in Aleppo was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Naser (2-5) played at the court of eighth ranked Al Yarmouk (2-3). Al Yarmouk defeated Naser 81-69. Al Yarmouk moved-up to sixth place. Naser at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Al Yarmouk will play against league's second-placed Al Jaish in Damascus in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Naser will play on the road against Al Ittihad (#4) in Aleppo and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most exciting game of round 16 in the Division I took place in Homs. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Al Karameh (6-7) to seventh ranked Al Hurriyeh (5-7) 81-79 on Saturday evening.
