What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most exciting game of round 5 in the Division I took place in Aleppo. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th ranked Al Yarmouk (1-3) to leader Al Jalaa (4-0) 59-56 on Tuesday evening. Al Jalaa have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Al Jaish. Al Yarmouk lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Al Jalaa is looking forward to face league's leader Al Jaish in Damascus in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al Yarmouk will have a break next round.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Aleppo: Al Ittihad (#3) and Al Hurriyeh (#7). Al Hurriyeh was crushed at home by 16 points 60-76 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Al Ittihad maintains third place with 3-1 record behind leader Al Jaish, which they share with Al Wahda. Al Hurriyeh lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Al Ittihad will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Hurriyeh will play on the road against Naser (#8) in Damascus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Bottom-ranked Al Sahel is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to fifth ranked Al Karameh (4-3) 81-64 on Saturday evening.
