Nenad Krdzic
The 59 years old Serbian coach Nenad Krdzic has arrived to Damascus City "The Capital of Syria" few day ago to put the final touch on his contract with Syrian basketball federation for upcoming events.
The final 4 of Syrian league started few weeks ago and we are in the final league series between Wehda and Jaish where Wehda leading the series 2-0 in best of 3 series, if coach Nenad agrees with Syrian basketball federation it won't be the first experience for him as head coach of Syrian National Team, he took this position in 2003 .. he had another experience in Syrian when he coached Al Wehda club in Syria two seasons 2002-2003 & 2003-2004 and Al Jalaa Club season 2004-2005.
Recently coach Nenad coached Uhud Saudi Club season 2014-2015 and leaded the club to won the league title, he worked in several countries in Middle east such as Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran beside his experience in several countries in Europe like Cyprus, Hungary, Austria and Yugoslavia.
Syrian National Team will participate in Asia Cup 2017 which will be held in Lebanon and will participate in World Championship 2019 qualifying games behind Jordan, India and Lebanon National Teams in same group.

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most exciting game of round 16 in the Division I took place in Homs. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Al Karameh (6-7) to seventh ranked Al Hurriyeh (5-7) 81-79 on Saturday evening. Division I Round 15: Al Karameh loses to Al Jalaa in the game between Top 4 teams - 1 month ago
There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Division I. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The game between Top Four teams took place in Homs. 4th placed host Al Karameh (6-6) was smashed by second ranked Al Jalaa (10-1) 73-53. Al Jalaa have a solid series of four victories in a row. Division I Round 13: Al Sahel records their first victory - 1 month ago
Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Al Sahel has finally registered their first victory this season after ten consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Naser (2-9) 97-96 on Saturday. Al Sahel maintains tenth place with 1-10 record. It was Naser's sixth loss in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. Al Sahel will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
