Madanly
Talk N Text Tropang Texters (PBA) signed 35-year old Syrian ex-international guard Michel Madanly (194-81). He played this summer at Champville in Lebanese Pepsi LBL.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Madanly won Saudi Arabian League championship title in 2012. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Syrian League Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Syrian League Domestic Player of the Year back in 2006, 2009 and 2011. Madanly represented Syria at the West Asia Basketball Championships in Amman (Jordan) four years ago.
He is quite experienced player. Madanly has played also professionally in China (Jilin Tigers, Foshan and Qingdao Eagles), Saudi Arabia (Al Ittihad), Syria (Al Wahda, Al Jalaa and Al Jaish) and Philippines (NLEX Road Warriors).
He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Talk N Text.
Madanly could be described: One of the best players in the country. Good young prospect at the point and shooting guard position; nice shooting 3 pionts rang ,attacks basket and finishes effectively; nobody can stop him when he is making layup or dunk; excellent upper body strenght speed, and quickiness .soild denfeder.
