Thawra clinched the Syrian League title. They swept the championship series versus Wahda. Thawra opened the Finals with a road win. They steamrolled Wahda 74:49 in the opener.
Thawra completed the sweep in Game 2. They earned a tough 60:54 victory at home to clinch the title.
