Sporting were crowned champions of the 2025–2026 Egypt Women's Basketball Super League after defeating Al Ahly 79–69 in Game 3 of the finals series at Borg El Arab Hall in Alexandria. With the victory, Sporting completed a clean sweep of the championship series, securing the title after winning all three games in the best-of-five finals. Sporting made a strong start, taking the first quarter 19–9, before Al Ahly fought back to claim a 39–33 halftime lead. However, Sporting regained control in the third quarter, moving ahead 56–53, before closing out the game with a decisive 79–69 victory. Run Sporting had opened the series with an 84–67 win in Game 1, followed by a 72–59 victory in Game 2, before sealing the championship with their third consecutive triumph. The finals were played under a best-of-five format, with the first team to secure three victories crowned league champions.
