Jeish grabs the championship title - May 21, 2010

Jeish is the new champion of Syria. It was the second straight appearance for Jeish in the Playoff Finals, but this year they made it. Jeish outplayed Jalaa in third crucial game 88-92 and won the title in Syrian top division.
As a reminder, Jalaa opened this series with 104-96 overtime win. Jeish managed to beat them in Game Two 77-74 and finally last night to win the trophy. Jalaa was the regular season champion with perfect 22-0 record, but they slipped when it was the most important and failed to defend the championship title, which belonged to them since 2007 (07, 08, 09). On the other hand, this is the first title for Jeish since 2005.
