After the end of the syrian league before two days,The Syrian basketball federation decided to choose Ittihad import from Mali Lamine Diawara (206-C-71, agency: China-Hoop) to be the Most Valuable player of Syria 2006.
Lamine who helped Ittihad Aleppo so much to snatch the title from their city revals Al Jalaa' in the last moments after beating them 80-72,Lamine was the star of the game by making 3 block shots and 17 rebounds.
