Kazakhstan U16 - Sri Lanka U16 69:45

Kazakhstan claimed the second win at the U16 Asia Championship. They upset hosting Sri Lanka for 2-2 record in Level II. Alexandra Kovalevskaya (170-F/G-97) produced 19 points and 14 rebounds in the victory.
Kazakhstan eked out a 16:13 lead after ten minutes. The margin grew drastically in the second term. Kazakhstan jumped to a massive 41:23 halftime advantage. Sri Lanka clipped the deficit in the third term. The hosts got within 13 points at the final intermission. But Kazakhstan opened the fourth term on a 14:3 run and cruised to the victory. Karina Olenberg (179-F-98) produced 12 points, while Anastassiya Arzamastseva had 9 points in the win. Nirma Samarasinghe (177-C-98) responded with 18 points for Sri Lanka. Lavanya De Silva added 10 points in the losing effort.
