Jordan U16 - Sri Lanka U16 77:50

Jordan recorded the first win at the U16 Asia Championship. They overcame hosting Sri Lanka to gain 1-1 record at Level II. Tala Sabbagh delivered 21 points and 18 boards for the winners.
Jordan knocked down 23 points in the starting quarter and gained a 12-point lead at the first intermission. Sri Lanka narrowed the gap in the second quarter. The hosts got within 9 points at the interval. Jordan held Sri Lanka to just 9 points in the third term. They opened a 14-point advantage at the final intermission. Jordan unleashed 23 points in the fourth term and sealed the victory. Liliana Abu Jbara accounted for 20 points. Tala Shahatit netted 10 points and grabbed 10 boards in the victory. Nirma Arachchige responded with 17 points for Sri Lanka. Tyra De Silva chipped in 10 points in the loss.
