India wins Level II with 4-0 record as they stormed past Sri Lanka in the start of the last day of the Preliminary Round. The team won 114:27 and remained undefeated. Sri Lanka meanwhile finished with 0-4 record.
India won the first period 25-13 and added massive 33-6 in the second period. Moreover the favorites limited Sri Lanka to just two points in the third period. They erupted with 27-2 and enjoyed 85:21 after 30 minutes. They added 29-6 in the last stanza for a comfortable win.
P.S. Jeena (178-F-94) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and 16 rebounds, while Anjana Geetha (177-F-94) and Anjana Ekka (174-F-95) scored 15 each. Sharanjeet Kaur (165-F-96) followed them with 11 points in a win. Chamodi Liyanaralalage (164-F-95) nailed 13 points in defeat and Anne Ravindran (156-F-96) added 6.
