Singapore clinched the second win at the U18 Asia Championship. They overcame Sri Lanka to catch up with Hong Kong in the second position at Level II ladder. Lim Alanna (172-C-94) posted 10 points and 12 rebounds to pace Singapore.
Singapore jumped to a 12:9 lead after ten minutes. They fired 19 points in the second quarter to boost their lead. Singapore arrived at halftime up by 15 points 31:16. They maintained the lead throughout the third quarter. Singapore entered the fourth period up by as many as 17 points 46:29. Sri Lanka refused to give up and outscored Singapore in the final frame. But the margin proved too deep to overcome as Singapore secured the victory. Han Priscilla (170-F-94) netted 10 points, while Chua Violet (160-F-95) and See Shermaine (162-G-94) added 8 points each in the win. Anne Ravindran (156-F-96) answered with 18 points for Sri Lanka. Pooja Marasinghege (169-C-94) delivered 12 points in the loss.
