Taiwan U18 - Sri Lanka U18 102:49

Taiwan posted the second win at the U18 Asia Championship in Yemen. They bruised Sri Lanka to finish the preliminary round in the second place in Group A. Sri Lanka in the meantime suffered the third loss in a row and failed to advance into the Qualifying Round. Hung Kang-Chiao (191-F-92) knocked down 25 points to pace Taiwan to the victory.
Taiwan opened the game with an 8:2 run and stayed in charge throughout the starting quarter. They ensured a 26:12 advantage at the first break. Taiwan quickly boosted the margin to 20 points in the second stanza. The gap reached a 29-point mark at halftime. Sri Lanka continued to struggle offensively in the second half. They teamed up for just 13 rebounds in the game and hit miserable 35% from the stripe. These did not allow the team to threaten the margin as Taiwan rolled to the victory at the end.
