Philippines-Sri Lanka 70:55

Philippines beat Sri Lanka in their last game of the group to finish with 3-2 record. The team remained Sri Lanka winless after 70:55 in Day 5.
Inoka Sandamali Juwan Pedige gave her team the first lead from the perimeter, while Gallappaththiguruge increased the run to 5:0. Merenciana Arayi (85) tied the game at 5:5 and Gallappaththiguruge brought the lead back to Sri Lanka from the free throw line. Premila Beruwalage (81) delivered another points for 16:11 and she closed the opening quarter 20:15. In the second quarter however Sri Lanka scored only three points and trailed 26:23 at the halftime. Philippines found its game and dominated the court. they produced 24-10 in the third period for a comfortable lead. In the last frame Sri lanka was better 22-20, but that was not enough for the total success. Philippines deserved the victory more and took it at the end anyway. Sri Lanka tried hard for the only win, but failed again.
Merenciana Arayi top-scored for the winners with 23 points. Chovi Borja (85) netted 10, while Diana Rose Jose scored 7. Premila Beruwalage and Inoka Sandamali Juwan Pedige posted 12 points each in defeat.
