WKBL Round 25 of Regular Season

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in WKBL. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

WKBL round 25 caused change at the leadership position. Ninth defeat of league's leader Hana 1Q (17-9) against second ranked KB Stars (18-9) 72-61 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. KB Stars have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Hana 1Q at the other side dropped to the second place with nine games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by KB Stars. Hana 1Q will play next round against strong BNK Sum trying to make it back to the top of the standings. KB Stars will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Blue Minx in Yongin.

In the last two games of round 25 BNK Sum beat Woori Bank on the road 66-56. Blue Minx won against S-Birds on its own court 59-50.

KB Stars - Hana 1Q 72-61

Woori Bank - BNK Sum 56-66

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked BNK Sum (13-15) beat 4th placed Woori Bank (12-15) in Chuncheon 66-56 on Wednesday. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Woori Bank lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 15 games lost. BNK Sum are looking forward to face league's second-placed Hana 1Q in Bucheon in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Woori Bank will play on the road against the league's second-placed Hana 1Q in Bucheon and is hoping to win this game.

Blue Minx - S-Birds 59-50

Rather expected game when 6th ranked S-Birds (6-21) lost to third ranked Blue Minx (15-12) in Yongin 50-59 on Friday. Blue Minx maintains third place with 15-12 record having just three points less than leader KB Stars. Loser S-Birds stay at the bottom position with 21 games lost. Blue Minx are looking forward to face league's leader KB Stars in Seoul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. S-Birds will play at home against the league's leader KB Stars (#1) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
