WKBL Round 11 (Regular Season): BNK Sum lose to KB Stars

The game between second ranked BNK Sum (6-5) and fourth ranked KB Stars (6-5) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. BNK Sum was defeated by KB Stars in Guri 57-70. KB Stars have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Blue Minx and BNK Sum. KB Stars is looking forward to face Woori Bank (#5) in Chuncheon in the next round. BNK Sum will play on the road against Blue Minx in Yongin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
WKBL top team - Hana 1Q (8-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Woori Bank (5-7) in Bucheon 61-53. Hana 1Q maintains first place with 8-3 record. Woori Bank at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Hana 1Q will play against bottom-ranked S-Birds (#6) in Anshan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Woori Bank will play on the road against the league's second-placed KB Stars in Seoul and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Chuncheon was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Blue Minx (6-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Woori Bank (5-7). Blue Minx managed to secure a 7-point victory 51-44 on Wednesday. Blue Minx moved-up to second place, which they share with KB Stars and BNK Sum. Loser Woori Bank keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Blue Minx will meet at home BNK Sum (#4) in the next round. Woori Bank will play against the league's second-placed KB Stars in Seoul and hope to secure a win.
