WKBL Round 5 (Regular Season): Blue Minx lose to BNK Sum

The game between second ranked Blue Minx (3-2) and fourth ranked BNK Sum (3-2) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Blue Minx was defeated by BNK Sum in a tough game in Guri 67-72. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with KB Stars and Blue Minx. BNK Sum is again looking forward to face league's second-placed Blue Minx in Yongin in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Blue Minx will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Hana 1Q (4-1) which hosted in Bucheon 4th placed BNK Sum (3-2). First ranked Hana 1Q managed to get a 11-point victory 60-49. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Hana 1Q have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-1 record. Defending champion BNK Sum dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with KB Stars and Blue Minx. Hana 1Q will play against bottom-ranked Woori Bank (#6) in Chuncheon in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BNK Sum will play on the road against the league's second-placed Blue Minx (#2) in Yongin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 5 Woori Bank was beaten by KB Stars on the road 69-65.
