BNK Sum topple Al Ula for first win in WBLA Group B

Busan BNK Sum claimed the first victory at the WBLA Group B action. They beat Al Ula in their opener. Sohee Lee (171-F-2000) stepped up with 23 points, while Kim-Ursu Sonia (175-SG-1993) added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the Korean side.
BNK Sum eked out a 16-13 lead after ten minutes. The Korean side poured in 31 points in the second quarter to gain a 47-31 halftime advantage. BNK Sum kept on pressing in the second half. They poured in 34 points in the third stanza to clear off for good.
Queen Egbo (193-C-2000, college: Baylor) banked in 34 points and 19 rebounds, while Chennedy Carter (175-PG-1998, college: Texas A&M) delivered game-high 45 points and 11 rebounds in the second straight loss for Al Ula.
