Anyang signs Johnny O'Bryant III, ex Uralmash

Johnny O'Bryant III

Anyang KGC (KBL) signed 31-year old American power forward Johnny O'Bryant III (207cm-114kg-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports). He started the season at Uralmash in Russian VTB United League. In 14 games he had 13.5ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.1apg. The last season summer he was tested by Gigantes (BSN) in Puerto Rican league.
In 2014 he was drafted by Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (36th overall). The former Louisiana State University star is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He represented USA at the World Championship U17 in Hamburg (Germany) fifteen years ago. O'Bryant's team won Gold and he had over 4 points per game.
O'Bryant is quite experienced player. He has played in twelve different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). O'Bryant has played previously professionally in China (Sharks), Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Japan (Robots), Philippines (Bolts), Puerto Rico, Serbia (Crvena zvezda), Turkey (Turk Telekom), NBA (Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets), South Korea (Wonju DB), NBA G League (NAZ Suns) and The Basketball Tournament (Eberlein Drive).
Among many awards he won Israeli Premier League championship title in 2019. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Honorable Mention back in 2020.
