Czechia secured World Cup Qualifying Tournaments in 2026 ticket. They overcame Korea Republic 73-67 to win FIBA Women’s WC PQT in Mexico.
Czechia managed to win all the games at the tournament opening the final with a narrow 10-7 lead. They increased to a-6 point advantage, whilst Korea Republic looked better after the break. Korea posted a 25-16 surge, however fell short at the end.
Julia Reisingerova (194-C-1998) was named the tournament’s MVP finishing with 9 points and 6 assists. Gabriela Andelova (173-PG-1996) and Natalie Stoupalova (187-PF-1998) top-scored for the winners with 15 points each. Ji-Su Park (195-C-1998) replied with 22 points in the losing effort.
