WKBL Round 7 (Regular Season): KB Stars keep a leadership position

KB Stars (8-1) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Woori Bank. BNK Sum lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. BNK Sum will play next round against strong Hana 1Q trying to get back on the winning streak. KB Stars will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Blue Minx in Yongin.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Blue Minx (4-5) against fifth ranked Hana 1Q (4-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Blue Minx was crushed by Hana 1Q in Bucheon 65-44. Hana 1Q moved-up to fourth place. Blue Minx at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. Hana 1Q will play against BNK Sum (#5) in Guri in the next round. Blue Minx will play at home against the league's leader KB Stars and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Guri was also quite interesting. Second ranked Woori Bank (8-1) played at the court of 5th ranked BNK Sum (3-7). Woori Bank did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 84-66 on Monday. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with KB Stars. BNK Sum lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. Woori Bank will meet bottom-ranked S-Birds (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BNK Sum will play against Hana 1Q in Bucheon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 7 bottom-ranked S-Birds were smashed by Hana 1Q on the road 78-51.
