SeaHorses Mikawa (B1 League) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old South Korean international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192cm-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) for season 2023-24. Lee played last season at KoGas in South Korean KBL league. In 50 games he was league's fifth best scorer with impressive 18.1ppg and had 3.2rpg, 4.1apg and 1.3spg. He was also named League Player of the Week.
Lee won Korean KBL championship title in 2014, 2015 and 2019. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Korean KBL All-Domestic Players Team in 2019 and 2021.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Sono Skygunners (KBL) where in 56 games he recorded very remarkable stats: 17.2ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.9apg in that year. Good season as he was also here named League Player of the Week.
In 2017 (four years after his graduation) he was drafted by Erie Bay Hawks (G-League) in first round (20th overall).
The former Brigham Young University - Hawaii (NCAA Div.II) star is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Lee has been also a member of South Korean international program for some years. He has regularly played for South Korean senior team since 2017 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2008.
Lee represented South Korea at the East Asian Championship in Nagano (Japan) six years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 4 games: 13.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.5apg, FGP: 52.6%, 3PT: 45.5%, FT: 83.3%.
He has played previously professionally in South Korea (Mobis Phoebus and KCC Egis) and NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks). Lee won Korean KBL championship title in 2014, 2015 and 2019. He was selected to Asia-Basket.com Korean KBL All-Domestic Players Team in 2019 and 2021.
