Warney's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old center Jameel Warney (203-C-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Seoul Knights and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had a double-double of 34 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Seoul Thunders (#9, 10-16) with 18-point margin 82-64. Seoul Knights maintains the 4th position in South Korean league. Seoul Knights is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-13 record. In the team's last game Warney had a remarkable 57.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Seoul Knights, through which he has constantly improved. Stony Brook University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Warney is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.5ppg. Warney is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.7rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 53.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Seonghyen Jeon (190-G-1991) of Goyang. He is international guard in his first season at Goyang. In the last game Jeon recorded impressive 33 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Goyang lost that game 83-90 to slightly lower-ranked KCC Egis (#6, 11-13). Goyang managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 11-11 record is not bad and everything may still change. Jeon is a newcomer at Goyang and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.5ppg (#2).

Third place about best performers goes to forward Emanuel Terry (206-F-1996) of Seoul Thunders (#9). Terry scored 20 points and grabbed twenty one rebounds (!!!). Despite Terry's great performance Seoul Thunders lost 64-82 to the higher-ranked Seoul Knights (#4, 13-13). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Seoul Thunders not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 16 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Terry could try to bring Seoul Thunders' a little bit higher in the standings. Terry has individually a great season in South Korea. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.1rpg (7th best).
