Nick Minnerath

Defending champion Shabab Al Ahli Dubai (ULB) strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old American 207cm power forward Nick Minnerath, college: Detroit for season 2021-22. Minnerath joins another USA player Brandon Triche who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at SK Knights in South Korean KBL league. In 54 games he recorded 13.4ppg and 4.3rpg last season.
His team made it to the Korean KBL Cup Finalist in 2021 final.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Seoul Samsung Thunders (also in KBL) where in 43 games he was league's second best scorer with impressive 21.0ppg and had 5.9rpg. He was also voted League Player of the Week (2 times).
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Minnerath is a very experienced player. Thanks to Minnerath's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in seven different countries. He has played previously professionally in China (Sharks and Flying Tigers), France (Cholet Basket and STB Le Havre), Puerto Rico (Leones), Russia (Avtodor), Spain (Obradoiro), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers) and NBA G League (Canton Charge).
Among many awards he was selected Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Import Player of the Year back in 2017.
Minnerath attended University of Detroit Mercy until 2013 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
