Naturalized American Forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Mobis Phoebus, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 39.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 39 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed SK Knights (#9, 18-33) with 20-point margin 106-86. It allowed Mobis Phoebus to consolidate first place in the South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mobis Phoebus has a very solid 40-11 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Ratliffe turned to be Mobis Phoebus' top player in his first season with the team. Ricardo Ratliffe averages this season 24.7ppg and 14.4rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old American Eugene Phelps (198-F-90) of Samsung Th.. Phelps had a very good evening with a double-double of 40 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Samsung Th. lost that game 90-95 to the higher-ranked KCC Egis (#4, 27-24). Samsung Th. are still at the very bottom. 40 lost games are too many comparing to just eleven victories Samsung Th. managed to get this year. Phelps is a newcomer at Samsung Th., but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) of SK Knights (#9). Haynes showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, sixteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of SK Knights, leading his team to a 90-60 easy win against slightly higher-ranked DB Promy (#7, 23-28). The chances of SK Knights not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 33 games, recording just eighteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Haynes could try to bring SK Knights' a little bit higher in the standings. Haynes has a very solid season. In 28 games in South Korea he scored 24.1ppg. He also has 11.1rpg and 5.3apg.

Other top performing players last week:
