Naturalized American Forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Mobis Phoebus and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 37.
The 29-year old forward had a double-double of 31 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team beat LG Sakers (#3, 26-22) 95-80. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Mobis Phoebus to consolidate first place in the South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mobis Phoebus has a very solid 38-11 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Ratliffe turned to be Mobis Phoebus' top player in his first season with the team. University of Missouri graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ratliffe is in league's top in points (5th best: 24.3ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 14.2rpg) and averages solid 1.6bpg and 63.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 33-year old American power forward Brandon Brown (201-PF-85) of KCC Egis. Brown impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 32 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as KCC Egis lost that game 87-98 to the higher-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#1, 38-11). KCC Egis managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 24-24 record is not bad and everything may still change. Brown is a newcomer at KCC Egis and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.3ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 13.3rpg and 3.8apg. Cal State - San Bernardino alumni Brown played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was American Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) of SK Knights (#9). Haynes showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, fourteen rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. Despite Haynes' great performance SK Knights lost 90-95 to the higher-ranked ET Land (#2, 34-14). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of SK Knights not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 32 games, recording just sixteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Haynes could try to bring SK Knights' a little bit higher in the standings. Haynes has individually a great season in South Korea. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.1ppg (6th best), rebounds with 11.2rpg (8th best) and assists with 5.5apg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Eugene Phelps (198-F-90) of Samsung Th. - 31 points and 13 rebounds
5. Giddy Potts (188-G-95) of ET Land - 30 points and 6 rebounds
6. Shannon Shorter (193-G-89) of Mobis Phoebus - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists
7. James Mays (205-F/C-86) of LG Sakers - 23 points and 20 rebounds
8. Leon Williams (203-C/F-86) of DB Promy - 15 points and 16 rebounds
9. Seung-Hyun Lee (201-C-92) of Goyang Orions - 19 points and 7 rebounds
10. Ji-Hoon Ham (198-C/F-84) of Mobis Phoebus - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
