GIDDY POTTS

23-year old guard Giddy Potts (188-G-95) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked ET Land and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 35.
He had the game-high 43 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for ET Land in his team's victory, helping them to edge out KT Sonicboom (#3, 24-21) 108-104. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. ET Land maintains the 2nd position in South Korean league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. ET Land will need more victories to improve their 31-14 record. In the team's last game Potts had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be ET Land's top player in his first season with the team. Giddy Potts averages this season 19.0ppg and 6.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Marcus Landry (201-F-85) of KT Sonicboom. He is American forward in his first season at KT Sonicboom. In the last game Landry recorded impressive double-double of 42 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as KT Sonicboom was edged by slightly higher-ranked ET Land (#2, 31-14) 108-104. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. KT Sonicboom still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 24-21 record is not bad at all. Landry is a newcomer at KT Sonicboom and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.5ppg (#7). He also registered 8.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Darryl Monroe (201-C/F-86) of Goyang Orions (#5). Monroe got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for fourteen rebounds and four assists. Despite Monroe's great performance Goyang Orions lost 87-92 to slightly higher-ranked LG Sakers (#4, 24-21). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Goyang Orions needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 23 victories and 23 lost games. Monroe has a great season in South Korea. After 38 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.6rpg (7th best) and assists with 5.4apg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Justin Edwards (190-G-92) of Anyang KGC - 37 points and 8 rebounds
5. Shannon Shorter (193-G-89) of Mobis Phoebus - 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Aaron Haynes (201-F-81) of SK Knights - 30 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists
7. James Mays (205-F/C-86) of LG Sakers - 30 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Brandon Brown (201-PF-85) of KCC Egis - 24 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists
