The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Mobis Phoebus (35-11) in Ulsan on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by eighth ranked Anyang KGC (20-26) 85-82. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Mobis Phoebus. They outrebounded Mobis Phoebus 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Canadian guard Justin Edwards (190-92, college: Kansas St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) answered with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for Mobis Phoebus. Anyang KGC maintains eighth place with 20-26 record. Mobis Phoebus at the other side still keep top position with 11 games lost. Anyang KGC are looking forward to face higher ranked LG Sakers (#4) in Changwon in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mobis Phoebus will play at home against Goyang Orions and are hoping to win this game.
Another interesting game for Goyang Orions (23-23) which played in Wonju against 5th ranked DB Promy (22-24). Sixth ranked Goyang Orions had an easy win 96-80. It was a great evening for American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Josh-Emmanuel Akognon helped adding 22 points. American power forward Leon Williams (203-86, college: Ohio) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Goyang Orions moved-up to fifth place. DB Promy at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 24 games lost. Goyang Orions will play against league's leader Mobis Phoebus in Ulsan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DB Promy will play on the road against the league's second-placed ET Land Elephants (#2) in Inchon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An interesting game for ET Land Elephants (31-14) which played road game in Busan against 4th placed KT Sonicboom (24-21). Second ranked ET Land Elephants managed to get a 4-point victory 108-104. It was an exceptional evening for Giddy Potts who led the winners and scored 43 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Marcus Landry came up with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for KT Sonicboom in the defeat. ET Land Elephants maintains second place with 31-14 record having five points less than leader Mobis Phoebus. KT Sonicboom lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with 21 games lost. They share it with LG Sakers. ET Land Elephants will meet at home DB Promy (#6) in the next round. KT Sonicboom will play against Samsung Thunders in Seoul and hope to secure a win.
Bottom-ranked Samsung Thunders managed to get a eleventh victory, breaking the series of nine consecutive losses. This time they edged seventh-ranked KCC Egis in Seoul 80-77. The best player for the winners was Eugene Phelps who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Samsung Thunders maintains tenth place with 11-34 record. KCC Egis at the other side keep the seventh position with 24 games lost. Samsung Thunders' next round opponent will be higher ranked KT Sonicboom (#3) in Busan and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

In the last two games of round 35 KT Sonicboom beat SK Knights on the road 99-88. LG Sakers won against Goyang Orions on its own court 92-87.



KT Sonicboom - ET Land 104-108

An interesting game for ET Land Elephants (31-14) which played road game in Busan against 4th placed KT Sonicboom (24-21). Second ranked ET Land Elephants managed to get a 4-point victory 108-104. ET Land Elephants made 33-of-38 free shots (86.8 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Giddy Potts (188-95, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who led the winners and scored 43 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Nak-Hyun Kim (180-95) accounted for 25 points for the winning side. Four ET Land Elephants players scored in double figures. American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) came up with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and international guard Hoon Heo (181-95) added 20 points and 10 assists respectively for KT Sonicboom in the defeat. ET Land Elephants maintains second place with 31-14 record having five points less than leader Mobis Phoebus. KT Sonicboom lost fourth consecutive game. Bottom-ranked Samsung Thunders managed to get a eleventh victory, breaking the series of nine consecutive losses. This time they edged seventh-ranked KCC Egis in Seoul 80-77. They outrebounded KCC Egis 41-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Gwan-Hee Lee (190-88) chipped in 18 points. American Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international center Seung-Jin Ha (221-85) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Samsung Thunders maintains tenth place with 11-34 record. KCC Egis at the other side keep the seventh position with 24 games lost. No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked KT Sonicboom (24-21) beat 9th ranked SK Knights (16-29) in Seoul 99-88. KT Sonicboom dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to SK Knights' 38. The best player for the winners was American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. International guard Hoon Heo (181-95) chipped in 25 points and 8 assists. American forward Aaron Haynes (201-81, college: Boise St.) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and international Joon-Young Choi (200-94) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. SK Knights' coach Kyung-Eun Moon rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. KT Sonicboom moved-up to third place, which they share with LG Sakers. Defending champion SK Knights keep the ninth position with 29 games lost. KT Sonicboom's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Samsung Thunders (#10) in Seoul and are hoping to win another game. SK Knights will play at home against KCC Egis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Goyang Orions (23-23) lost to fourth ranked LG Sakers (24-21) in Changwon 87-92. 30 personal fouls committed by Goyang Orions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Central African-American power forward James Mays (205-86, college: Clemson) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds. American point guard Joshia Gray (185-93, college: LSU) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four LG Sakers players scored in double figures. American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Il-Young Heo (197-85) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Goyang Orions' coach Il-Seung Choo tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. LG Sakers moved-up to third place, which they share with KT Sonicboom. Goyang Orions at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 23 games lost. LG Sakers' next round opponent will be Anyang KGC (#8) at home which should be theoretically an easy game. Goyang Orions will play against the league's leader Mobis Phoebus in Ulsan and hope to win that game.
