RANDY CULPEPPER

Afyon Belediyespor (BSL) inked 29-year old American point guard Randy Culpepper (183-75kg-89, college: UTEP, agency: Inception Sports). He started the season at Anyang KGC in South Korean KBL league. In 16 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.9ppg, 2.1rpg, 4.1apg and 1.9spg this season. The last season Culpepper played at MIA-RO Cantu (Serie A) in Italian league where in 32 games he averaged remarkable 17.2ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.6apg and 2.1spg. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Defensive Player of the Year and voted to Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Among other achievements Culpepper's team won Ukrainian Cup in 2013. He received also All-C-USA Player of the Year award back in 2010 at his college time.
Culpepper is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Culpepper has played previously professionally in France (Limoges CSP Elite), Lebanon (Sagesse), Russia (Krasny Oktyabr) and Turkey (Besiktas and Balikesir).
He attended Univ.of Texas at El Paso until 2011 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
