MARCUS FOSTER

23-year old guard Marcus Foster (190-G-95, agency: Pensack Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for DB Promy and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 20.
He had the game-high 36 points adding eight rebounds for DB Promy in his team's victory, helping them to crush LG Sakers (14-14) with 16-point margin 87-71. DB Promy is placed at 4th position in South Korean league. DB Promy is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-14 record. In the team's last game Foster had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be DB Promy's top player in his first season with the team. Creighton University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Foster is in league's top in points (3rd best: 25.5ppg), assists (7th best: 4.1apg) and averages solid 57.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Brandon Brown (201-PF-85) of KCC Egis. He is American forward in his first season at KCC Egis. In the last game Brown recorded impressive 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led KCC Egis to another comfortable win 94-78 over slightly lower-ranked Goyang Orions (#8, 11-17) being unquestionably team leader. KCC Egis' 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 13-15 record. Brown is a newcomer at KCC Egis and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.4ppg (#4). He also registered 12.7 boards per game. Former Cal State - San Bernardino star Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to forward DaJuan Summers (203-PF-88) of SK Knights (#9). Summers got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . Despite Summers' great performance SK Knights lost 73-79 to the higher-ranked KT Sonicboom (#2, 17-10). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of SK Knights not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 17 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Summers could try to bring SK Knights' a little bit higher in the standings. Summers has a very solid season. In 4 games in South Korea he scored 23.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89) of Mobis Phoebus - 29 points and 11 rebounds
5. James Mays (205-F/C-86) of LG Sakers - 27 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Shannon Shorter (193-G-89) of Mobis Phoebus - 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists
7. Darryl Monroe (201-C/F-86) of Goyang Orions - 16 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists
8. Giddy Potts (188-G-95) of ET Land - 28 points and 8 rebounds
9. Eugene Phelps (198-F-90) of Samsung Th. - 23 points and 16 rebounds
10. Charles Rhodes (203-F/C-85) of ET Land - 17 points and 7 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
