RICARDO RATLIFFE

Naturalized American Forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Mobis Phoebus, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 35 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed DB Promy (#9, 4-9) with 26-point margin 109-83. It allowed Mobis Phoebus to consolidate first place in the South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mobis Phoebus has a very solid 9-3 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Ratliffe turned to be Mobis Phoebus' top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Missouri star has very solid stats this year. Ratliffe is in league's top in points (3rd best: 25.6ppg) and averages impressive 1.4bpg and 67.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 33-year old American Brandon Brown (201-PF-85) of KCC Egis. Brown had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led KCC Egis to another comfortable win 94-75 over slightly lower-ranked Samsung Th. (#8, 4-8) being unquestionably team leader. KCC Egis' 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Brown is a newcomer at KCC Egis, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.6ppg (#6). He also registered 12.8 boards per game. Former Cal State - San Bernardino star Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Murphy Holloway (201-F-90) of ET Land (#6). Holloway showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, eighteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of ET Land, leading his team to a 98-84 easy win against the lower-ranked Goyang Orions (#10, 2-11). ET Land needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 6 lost games. Holloway has a very solid season. In 4 games in South Korea he scored 20.8ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Leon Williams (203-C/F-86) of Goyang Orions - 25 points and 7 rebounds
5. David Logan (182-G-82) of KT Sonicboom - 29 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists
6. James Mays (205-F/C-86) of LG Sakers - 20 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Marcus Foster (190-G-95) of DB Promy - 35 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
8. JeQuan Lewis (185-PG-94) of Goyang Orions - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
9. O'Darien Bassett (189-G-86) of SK Knights - 31 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Young-Hwan Kim (195-F-84) of KT Sonicboom - 17 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
