What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The game between second ranked SK Knights (22-12) and fourth ranked Mobis Phoebus (21-13) was the most important one in the last round on Thursday night. SK Knights were defeated by Mobis Phoebus in a tough game in Seoul 92-98. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SK Knights. Mobis Phoebus looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Dong-Geun Yang (181-81) chipped in 20 points and 7 assists. American forward Aaron Haynes (201-81, college: Boise St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Mobis Phoebus maintains fourth place with 21-13 record. SK Knights at the other side dropped to the third position with 12 games lost. Mobis Phoebus will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SK Knights' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Seoul to the arena Samsung Thunders.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Ulsan. 4th placed host Mobis Phoebus (21-13) lost to third ranked KCC Egis (23-11) 71-60. The former international center Seung-Jin Ha (221-85) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Charles Rhodes accounted for 17 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) came up with 22 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for Mobis Phoebus in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KCC Egis moved-up to second place. Mobis Phoebus at the other side keep the fourth position with 13 games lost. KCC Egis will play against LG Sakers (#8) in Changwon in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mobis Phoebus will have a break next round.
Bottom-ranked Sonic Boom KT managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of twelve consecutive losses on Wednesday night. This time they edged seventh-ranked Samsung Thunders in Seoul 97-96. The best player for the winners was LeBryan Nash who scored 30 points and 5 rebounds. Markeith Cummings produced 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Sonic Boom KT maintains tenth place with 5-28 record. Samsung Thunders lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 19 games lost. Sonic Boom KT will meet at home higher ranked ET Land Elephants (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Samsung Thunders' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Seoul SK Knights.
KBL top team - DB Promy (24-9) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eighth ranked LG Sakers (11-22) in Changwon 73-69. Deonte Burton orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. DB Promy have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 24-9 record. LG Sakers at the other side keep the eighth position with 22 games lost. DB Promy's next round opponent will be Anyang KGC (#5) at home. LG Sakers will play against the league's second-placed KCC Egis and hope to win that game.

Defending champion maintains fifth place with 20-13 record. Loser ET Land Elephants keep the sixth position with 16 games lost. Anyang KGC will face league's leader DB Promy in Wonju in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ET Land Elephants will play on the road against Sonic Boom KT (#10) in Busan and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 29 KCC Egis won against Goyang Orions on the opponent's court 79-77. ET Land were outscored by SK Knights in a home game 77-98.

Goyang Orions - KCC Egis 77-79

Very expected game in Daegu where 9th ranked Goyang Orions (9-24) were edged by third ranked KCC Egis (23-11) 79-77 on Thursday. American forward Andre Emmett (196-82, college: Texas Tech) stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Charles Rhodes (203-85, college: Mississippi St.) chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds. American power forward Vernon Macklin (208-86, college: Florida) responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Jin-Soo Choi (202-89, college: Maryland) scored 11 points. KCC Egis moved-up to second place. Loser Goyang Orions keep the ninth position with 24 games lost. KCC Egis will face LG Sakers (#8) in Changwon in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.

Forward Aaron Haynes (201-81, college: Boise St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Terrico White (196-90, college: Mississippi) chipped in 23 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Josh Selby (188-91, college: Kansas, agency: HMS) scored 18 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory SK Knights went down to third position due to points difference. Loser ET Land Elephants keep the sixth place with 16 games lost. DB Promy was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. SK Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
