Seoul Samsung Thunders - Fubon Braves 93-79

The Thunders edge Fubon Braves at the start of The Super 8 tournament. The South Korean team won 93-79 dominating the whole game at the Studio City Macau. Seoul Samsung Thunders nailed 32 points in the opening period, but had difficulties to score in the middle of the second. The Braves reduced to 39-31 after Joseph Lin's shot. Donguk Kim however scored 5 points in a row for his side to give the Thunders a 48-39 lead at the halftime. The latter did not slow down in the rest of the game and grabbed the first win. Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-89, college: Missouri) was unstoppable with 37 points and Markeith Cummings (198-SF-88, college: Kennesaw St.) scored 19. Tsung-Hsien Chang (192-G-87, college: BYU-Hawaii) produced 21 in a loss and John Bohannon (210-F-91, college: UTEP) notched 19.

BRANDON BROWN 33-year old power forward Brandon Brown (201-PF-85) had an amazing evening in the last round for KCC Egis and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 11. He had the game-high 35 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for KCC Egis in his team's victory, helping them to beat DB Promy (#8, 5-11) 89-79. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.
