Dongbu Promy - Mobis Phoebus 73-81

Mobis Phoebus extended their dominance in KBL. They swept the title series versus Dongbu Promy to earn the third consecutive KBL trophy. Mobis Phoebus upset Dongbu Promy on the road to complete the sweep today. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dongbu Promy won third quarter 25-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mobis Phoebus made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Dongbu Promy helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Dong-Geun Yang (181-81) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Gregory Stevenson (197-78, college: Richmond) who added 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) during the contest. Four Mobis Phoebus players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center David Simon (208-82, college: IPFW) responded with 23 points and guard Ung Heo (183-93) scored 20 points. Dongbu Promy's coach Sei Bum Lee rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
