Jeonju KCC Egis have won KBL Cup 2023 in South Korea. In the Final gam they edged Ulsan Mobis Phoebus 81-76. Johnson Alize (206-SF-1996, college: Missouri St.) was named MVP as he nailed 24 points and added 12 rebounds and 5 assists.
Trailing 20 points at the end of the first quarter, Jeonju KCC Egis tied it all at the halftime after a massive 37-17 surge in the second period. Jeonju KCC Egis closed the campaign with a final 15-8 rally to seal the trophy.
