Experienced Turkish Kerem Kanter (208-F/C-1995) had a great game in the last round for Seoul Samsung Thunders and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 49.
The 30-year old power forward had a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Seoul Knights (#3, 32-21) with 18-point margin 93-75. Samsung Thunders maintains the 10th position in South Korean KBL. Seoul Thunders is bottom ranked team in the standings. They need more victories to leave last spot and improve bad 16-37 record. In the team's last game Kanter had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Samsung Thunders' top player in his first season with the team. Xavier University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kanter is in league's top in points (9th best: 17.1ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 53.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young former international forward Doowon Lee (199-F-2000) of Suwon KT Sonicboom. Lee impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for Sonicboom to edge slightly lower-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#8, 17-36) by 4 points 73-69. Suwon KT's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 26-27 record. Lee is one of the most experienced players at Suwon KT and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 5.7ppg (#5).

The third best performed player last round was another Seoul Thunders' star - Kwan-hee Lee (1988). Lee scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was another key player of Seoul Samsung Thunders, helping his team with a 93-75 easy win against the higher-ranked Seoul Knights (#3, 32-21). The chances of Samsung Thunders not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 37 games, recording just sixteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Lee could try to bring Seoul Thunders' a little bit higher in the standings. Lee has individually a great season in South Korea. After 53 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 10.4ppg (5th best) and assists with 2.6apg (6th best).
