American Center Jameel Warney (203-C-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Seoul SK Knights, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 42.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 36 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Wonju DB (#4, 27-20) with 21-point margin 89-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Knights maintains the 3rd position in South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Seoul Knights will need more victories to improve their 29-18 record. In the team's last game Warney had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Knights, through which he has constantly improved. Former Stony Brook University star has very solid stats this year. Warney is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.8ppg. Warney is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 10.9rpg), assists (7th best: 4.8apg) and averages impressive 1.1bpg and 51.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Rayshaun Hammonds (206-C-1998) of Hyundai Mobis Phoebus. Hammonds had a very good evening with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Mobis Phoebus lost that game 74-84 to slightly lower-ranked Daegu (#9, 15-32). Mobis Phoebus is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 17-30 record. Hammonds is a newcomer at Mobis Phoebus, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#3). He also registered 8.9 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-F-1989) of Daegu KoGas Pegasus (#9). Ratliffe scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Daegu, leading his team to a 84-74 win against slightly higher-ranked Mobis Phoebus (#8, 17-30). The chances of Daegu not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 32 games, recording just fifteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ratliffe could try to bring Daegu's a little bit higher in the standings. Ratliffe has individually a great season in South Korea. After 46 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.8rpg (7th best). He also has a FGP of 61.6% and 3PT: 43.9%. Ricardo Ratliffe has also South Korean passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
