Experienced American Shawn Long (208-F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Busan KCC Egis and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 33.
The 32-year old forward had a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Seoul Thunders (#9, 12-24) 103-90. Egis maintains the 6th position in South Korean KBL. KCC Egis is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 19-18 record. Long turned to be Egis' top player in his first season with the team. University Louisiana at Lafayette graduate has very impressive stats this year. Long is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.7ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.2rpg) and averages solid 60.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another KCC Egis' star - young international guard Ung Heo (183-G-1993). Heo impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course together with Long he helped Busan KCC Egis with another comfortable win 103-90 over the lower-ranked Seoul Thunders (#9, 12-24) being unquestionably team leader. Egis' 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 19-18 record is not bad and everything may still change. Heo is one of the most experienced players at Egis and similarly like Shawn Long has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Turkish Kerem Kanter (208-F/C-1995) of Seoul Samsung Thunders (#9). Kanter scored 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Despite Kanter's great performance the Samsung Thunders lost 90-103 to the higher-ranked KCC Egis (#6, 19-18). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Seoul Thunders not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 24 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Kanter could try to bring Seoul Thunders' a little bit higher in the standings. Kanter has individually a great season in South Korea. After 36 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.7rpg (8th best).
