Jameel Warney's triple-double lands him Player of the Week award

31-year old American center Jameel Warney (203-C-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for Seoul SK Knights and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
He recorded a triple-double of 27 points adding also 10 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team beat Daegu (#10, 11-25) 95-81. Knights maintains the 4th position in South Korean league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Seoul Knights will need more victories to improve their 21-14 record. In the team's last game Warney had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He has many years of experience at Knights, through which he has constantly improved. Stony Brook University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Warney is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.1ppg. Warney is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 11.2rpg), assists (7th best: 4.8apg) and averages solid 52.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Kerem Kanter (208-F/C-1995) of Seoul Samsung Thunders. He is Turkish forward in his first season at Seoul Thunders. In the last game Kanter recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Samsung Thunders lost that game 77-91 to slightly higher-ranked Sono SG (#7, 14-21). Seoul Thunders managed to keep the same 9th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 12-23 record. Kanter is a newcomer at Seoul Thunders and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Rayshaun Hammonds (206-C-1998) of Hyundai Mobis Phoebus (#8). Hammonds scored 29 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Mobis Phoebus, leading his team to a 86-78 win against the higher-ranked Wonju DB (#3, 23-13). The chances of Mobis Phoebus not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 22 games, recording just thirteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Hammonds could try to bring Mobis Phoebus' a little bit higher in the standings. Hammonds has individually a great season in South Korea. After 32 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.9ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 9.5rpg (5th best).
