American Center Henry Ellenson (208-C-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for Wonju DB, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, four rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to crush KCC Egis (#4, 16-12) with 17-point margin 99-82. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Wonju DB maintains the 3rd position in South Korean KBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Wonju DB will need more victories to improve their 18-10 record. In the team's last game Ellenson had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Wonju DB's top player in his first season with the team. Former Marquette University star has very solid stats this year. Ellenson is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.0ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.0rpg) and averages impressive 54.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Wonju DB's star - young American Ethan Alvano (185-G-1996). Alvano had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 11 assists. Of course together with Ellenson he helped Wonju DB with another comfortable win 99-82 over slightly lower-ranked KCC Egis (#4, 16-12) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Wonju DB consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 18-10 record is not bad at all. Alvano is one of the most experienced players at Wonju DB and similarly like Henry Ellenson has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.1ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 5.1rpg and 6.4apg. Former California State University San Marcos star Alvano is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Rayshaun Hammonds (206-C-1998) of Hyundai Mobis Phoebus (#9). Hammonds showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 16 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Hammonds' great performance the Mobis Phoebus lost 68-71 to the higher-ranked LG Sakers (#1, 20-8). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Mobis Phoebus not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 19 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Hammonds could try to bring Mobis Phoebus' a little bit higher in the standings. Hammonds has individually a great season in South Korea. After 28 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.0ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 9.9rpg (5th best).
